Perfect Ribeye Steak
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 Angus Rib Eye Steak , 200g pack
- 4 tsp rapeseed oil
- 3 dash freshly milled black pepper
- 100g salted butter, softened
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 1 small handful fresh chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp horseradish sauce
Instructions
- Remove the steaks from the fridge at least 20 minutes before cooking.
- To prepare the horseradish, garlic and parsley butter; mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
- Season.
- Mold the butter into a sausage shape and wrap in greaseproof paper.
- Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes whilst you cook your steak.
- Heat a non-stick pan until hot.
- Brush the steak with a little oil on both sides and season well.
- Cook the steaks according to your preference.
- Transfer to a warm plate, cover with foil and rest for 3-4 minutes.
- Serve with slices of the herb butter and sides of your choice.
