What is traditionally served with Lobster

Depending on the application—like a grilled lobster tail drenched in butter or lobster mac and cheese—the perfect side varies.

But generally speaking, lobster pairs well with crunchy slaws and salads, lemon-kissed pastas, roasted potatoes and vegetables, cheesy breads and biscuits and, best of all, juicy seared steak.

How long does it take to Cook Lobster on the Grill

At boiling point, lower the heat and simmer the lobster for 15 minutes for the first 450g. Simmer for a further 10 minutes for each 450g thereafter to a maximum of 40 minutes.

Prepare your lobster for grilling by slicing it on a sturdy board, cutting it in half lengthways and opening it up.

Lobsters are a family (Nephropidae, sometimes also Homeridae) of large marine crustaceans.

Lobsters have long bodies with muscular tails, and live in crevices or burrows on the sea floor. Three of their five pairs of legs have claws, including the first pair, which are usually much larger than the others.

Highly prized as seafood, lobsters are economically important, and are often one of the most profitable commodities in coastal areas they populate.
